I can not recommend The Real Taste of Northumberland highly enough…10 out of 10 just isn’t enough. They supplied the food for my mother-in-laws 80th birthday celebrations and from start to finish Adele, Ken and Abbie were outstanding. So helpful when arranging a menu for all our guests and checking dietary requirement, nothing was too much trouble. The wonderful “Pod” arrived on time and they had everything set up for us so quickly.

All food was piping hot and the service was friendly and always with a smile. If you are looking for a company to cater an event really you need to look no further… all local produce used which is so wonderful to support Northumberland businesses. Many thanks again The Real Taste of Northumberland… we will most definitely be booking you again!

Just wanted to say thank you for today, food was lovely, especially the lemon drizzle cake, I tried to take the praise for that one but they knew I was telling fibs.

The Real Taste of Northumberland did a vintage afternoon tea for our wedding. Every this was absolutely perfect from the food, to the vintage tableware, to the staff! The food was all homemade to such a high standard. Adele, Ken, Abbie and Gabriel all played a huge part in making our day perfect! Adele added some really lovely personal touches. Since our wedding our guest have been talking about the fab afternoon tea! I could not recommend enough... and not just for afternoon teas... all kinds of catering!

We asked Real Taste to make us cakes for our Emily Inspires fundraising day at the Morpeth Town Hall. They made the most delicious Victoria Sponge cake, beautifully decorated cup cakes and probably the BEST ever scones I have tasted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone who needs a friendly and professional catering company. Thank you again! Emma :-) 

Their food is amazing and locally sourced. I have sampled most of their buffet choices at the Business Northumberland training events. The cake is to die for ! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, Nicola

 The food this company produces is amazing they did food for our 30th wedding anniversary last night not usual buffet but sandwiches with different fillings and sweets of all descriptions if you want food at your party that your guests will be talking about for weeks and weeks because they enjoyed it so much them book these people oh and they are really nice people as well PJand A.

We recently ordered take away evening meals for 12 people to celebrate my Mum’s 80th. We ordered three options (chilli, lasagne and sausage casserole) so that people could choose, and followed this with two dessert options (apple crumble and brownie). The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! Adele was really helpful and responsive - thank you for making it a great family celebration! We will definitely return and highly recommend this place!




Don’t be deceived by the low key premise. This is the best burger I’ve ever had. I didn’t even know steak mince was a thing. And for what you get, the price is a steal.




Have known these wonderful people for a few years now. Lovely family and the food is outstanding and so tasty. The chicken and haggis pie is delicious and out of this world it’s a must try. Good variety proper old school home cooked food with a lot of new modern variety. Will be a regular stop when in the area as it’s always a pleasure to see them.
